The “too smooth” surface of a screen image is becoming the main archive for our experiences.
Using the non-absorbing surface of mylar in combination with watered pigments, this series recycles elements of the traditional genre of Still Life; bottles, botanicals and such, to consider questions of accumulation and surface, structure and transparency.
